INDUSTRIAL VISIT

INDUSTRIAL VISIT REPORT ORGANIZED BY DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND FOREIGN TRADE As part of our undergraduate course Department of Economics and Foreign Trade, KMCT Arts and Science College Kuttippuram was organized an Industrial Visit to MPEDA (The Marine Products Export Development Authority) Kochi, Panampalli Nagar along with 26 students and 3 staff members  on 25th March 2022. The industrial visit was scheduled as one day programme. During the visit, students explored the duties of MPEDA and allied activities through attending two classes which provided the MPEDA, The first session about MPEDA functions and Export performance, taken by BHUSHAN PATIL (assistant director-statistics) at 10.00 am – 10.45 am. And next session was taken by SAKTHIVEL (assistant director- marketing services) about the topic of Trade barriers in Seafood Trade. As part of the industrial visit, students visited the seafood processing plant accompanied by MPEDA officials.
