The Commerce Department of KMCT Arts and Science College proudly hosted BIZBURST, the official inauguration of the Commerce Association. The event, filled with insightful discussions, engaging activities, and vibrant performances, successfully brought together students, faculty, and professionals to celebrate the spirit of commerce and entrepreneurship. The event commenced with an inaugural address by Shamsudeen T, Principal of KMCT Arts and Science College. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of commerce in shaping the future of businesses and encouraged students to actively participate in such initiatives. A thought-provoking session was conducted by Dr. Favas Musthafa Misri, a renowned life coach, trainer, mentor, public speaker, and business consultant. He delivered an engaging talk on “Lessons from Successful Startups: What Works and What Doesn’t”, providing valuable insights into entrepreneurship, market trends, and strategies for business success. A key milestone of the event was the launch of the department’s digital magazine, BIZMOSPHERE, which aims to serve as a platform for students and faculties to express their ideas, insights, and research in the field of commerce and business. The event celebrated academic and extracurricular excellence through various prize distributions. It includes: Academic Excellence Awards for Final-year class toppers were honored for their outstanding academic achievements and Competition Winners Participants of various business-related activities were recognized for their creativity and strategic thinking. The competitions included: Commerce Rangoli, Pyramid Making, Bingo, Property Game, Spot Speech, Startups Showcase, Humorous Advertisement, and Treasure Hunt. A visually appealing Corporate Walk was conducted, symbolizing the corporate culture and professional attire. The event also featured energetic dance performances, adding vibrancy and entertainment to the gathering. The event concluded with a Commerce Exhibition, where students displayed their innovative business models, startup ideas, and creative projects. The exhibition provided a platform for students to explore real-world business scenarios and present their entrepreneurial skills.
