Faces of Patriotism

The Department of Economics organized a vibrant and engaging face painting competition titled “Faces of Patriotism” as part of Independence Day. The competition aimed to foster patriotic spirit and creativity among students by allowing them to express their love for the nation through artistic face painting. Participants showcased their talent and imagination by depicting themes such as the Indian tricolour, national symbols and unity in diversity.

The event was judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall presentation. Winners were awarded certificates and cash prizes, and all participants received appreciation for their spirited involvement.

“Faces of Patriotism” successfully blended art with patriotism, encouraging students to reflect on the values of freedom, unity, and national pride. The Department of Economics takes pride in contributing to the Independence Day celebrations with such a colourful and meaningful event.
