Future Mentors
The student centric program, “FUTUREMENTORS- Shaping tomorrow’s educators” organized by the PG Department of commerce provided an enriching learning experience as postgraduate students took on the role of instructors for undergraduate students. The event aimed to foster peer-to-peer learning while enhancing the teaching and presentation skills of PG students. The session began with an inaugural address by Mrs. Sheeba.T, HOD of PG Department of Commerce, who emphasized the significance of collaborative learning in academic growth. PG students delivered interactive lectures on various topics relevant to the UG curriculum, incorporating presentations. The UG students actively participated, engaging in discussions and asking insightful questions, which made the session highly interactive. The event proved beneficial for both groups, as UG students gained a deeper understanding of key concepts, while PG students developed confidence and teaching proficiency. The session concluded with a feedback discussion, where participants shared their experience and suggested ways to improve future sessions.
