This year's theme focused onMental Health Crisis and Suicide Prevention: Building Resilience and Providing Support’. The event provided social work students, educators, and professionals a platform to engage in academic discussions, exchange ideas, and network with peers across the state. Its primary aim is to connect students with a broader network of colleges, professional practitioners, and distinguished figures across various field practicums.

The Department of Social Work of KMCT Arts and Science College, participated in the Conference, contributing actively to both the academic discussions and the cultural competitions. The participation of both students (15 students) and faculty enriched the Conference, as they engaged in interactive sessions and gained insights into the evolving field of social work. The students and faculty attended various sessions throughout the Conference and Students Meet, including street play, theme dance, spot dance, treasure hunt and concept photography. Their performances were well-received and highly appreciated. Competing among participants from 23 colleges, our students secured second places national-wide in the street play and theme dance competitions, centred on the themes of “Mental Health Crisis and Suicide Prevention”.
