Orientation programme for Practical Accounting
The PG Department of Commerce organized a career development class with the topic " Unlocking Opportunities: An Orientation Programme on Practical Accounting "for final year Bcom students. The objective of the class was to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge in their future careers. This session was conducted by Mr. Manikandan (Professional Trainer) IPA Valanchery Chapter) a renowned expert in this field. The session covered various topics such as career opportunities in commerce and industry, an overview of practical accounting and building professional relationships. Students gained valuable insights into the world of commerce and industry, and learned how to set realistic career goals and create a plan to achieve them. Students provided positive feedback on the career development class, stating that it was informative, engaging, and relevant to their future careers. The session was evaluated based on the students' participation, engagement, and feedback. The class provided students with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in their future careers, and helped them to become more confident, competent, and employable.
