Research Methodology Workshop
The Department of Social Work, KMCT Arts and Science College, Kuttippuram, organized a one-day workshop on Research Methodology titled Methodika 2.0 on 20th August 2025. The workshop was exclusively designed for the final year BSW students with the objective of strengthening their research knowledge and preparing them for their upcoming project work.
The session was led by Dr. Hilalullah K.B, Academic Director and Assistant Professor of Safa College of Arts and Science, who has extensive expertise in social work education and research. During the workshop, Dr. Hilalullah systematically explained the importance of research in the field of social work and highlighted various components such as research design, formulation of research problems,
Objectives, hypothesis framing, data collection tools, sampling techniques, and methods of data analysis. He also stressed the significance of ethics in research and guided students on how to develop a strong research proposal. The session was highly interactive, enabling students to clarify their doubts and engage in meaningful discussions related to their project ideas
