UNLOK YOUR POTENTIAL – SOFT SKILL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

On August 26, 2025, the Department of Management Studies, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a Soft Skill Development Workshop titled “Unlock Your Potential”. The session was led by Ms. Haseena N. V, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, guided the students through a series of interactive activities and discussions designed to enhance their personal and professional competencies. The primary objective of the program was to equip students with essential soft skills such as emotional intelligence, time management, leadership qualities, adaptability, and resilience. Interpersonal communication, and prepare students to face academic and career-related challenges with a positive outlook.

Throughout the workshop, Ms. Haseena engaged the participants with real-life examples, role-play exercises, and group activities that highlighted the importance of effective communication, emotional balance, and teamwork. She emphasized practical strategies for prioritizing tasks, managing time efficiently, and developing leadership skills that foster collaboration and accountability. The interactive nature of the sessions encouraged active student participation, creating an environment that was both insightful and motivational.

The outcomes of the program were highly impactful as students reported gaining a deeper understanding of self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation.
