ONAM CELEBRATION2025 “THAKA THILLANA”
Onam the harvest festival of Kerala is a grand cultural celebration that brings together traditions, unity, and joy. KMCT Arts &Science college celebrated Onam 2025 on 29th august 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation from students, faculty, and staff. the programme was organized by the college programme committee in collaboration with IQAC .
The celebration reflected the rich cultural heritage of Kerala through various traditional events and performance. The programme began with different cultural events conducted by both teachers and students. A colourful Pookalam competition was conducted, where different groups displayed their creativity with vibrant floral designs. Traditional Onam songs Thiruvathira dance added charm to the celebration The highlight of the day was the Onam Sadhya , a grand fest served on banana leaves, which brought everyone together to share the festive spirit.
