AN AWARENESS SESSION ON UNDERSTANDING PCOD.
The Women Development Cell in association with IQAC of KMCT Arts and Science College Kuttippuram organized an awareness programme on Polycystic Ovary Disorder (PCOD) to First Year girl’s students of BAFE, BAEFT, BTTM and BSW on 04/08/2025 at college seminar hall.
The session commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Mrs. Hazeena, Asst. Professor of Department of Social Work.
The main session was conducted by Dr. Daniya Morine Dominic (MBBS, DNB, and OBG GYN) and Ms. Rinsha Rajan (MSc Applied Psychology), Hayath Medicare Hospital Kuttyppuram. The session is mainly aims to educate students about this common hormonal disorder and to create awareness about PCOD, its symptoms, causes and management options. The session was highly interactive and students tried to clarifies their doubts related to PCOD’S. It also gives awareness about the importance of early detection and encouraged them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits such as balanced diet, regular exercise sleeping habits etc... The class was a resounding success, promoting awareness and understanding. The session was concluded by a vote of thanks by Mrs. Shaharban, Asst. Professor of Department of Language.
