BASHEER DAY CELEBRATION
Basheer Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm under the leadership of the Literary club and language department. The program aimed to honor the life and literary contributions of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, one of the most celebrated writers in Malayalam literature.The program was formally inaugurated by the Principal, Mr. MT shamsudheen who spoke about Basheer’s unique writing style, humanistic vision, and his impact on generations of readers.The main highlight of the day was Basheer’s Story Characterization Program, where students portrayed iconic characters from his works. Their performances reflected Basheer deep understands of human emotions and social realities. This was followed by a video presentation of Basheer story, which offered the audience a visual experience of his narrative style. The event concluded with the screening of the film "Madhilukal", based on Basheer’s writing, which further enriched the literary atmosphere of the day.The program was a fitting tribute to the great writer and provided an inspiring experience for all participants and attendees.
