The camp began with greater enthusiasm and vision on the eve of 22^nd December 2024 in GLPS Naduvattom. The school setting gave a beautiful memory with a tinge of nostalgia. The declaration ceremony of the seven days’ special camp began at 3:00 pm. The ceremony was inaugurated by Thasliya Ramees, Block Panjayath Member in the presence of Saritha, Ward Member naduvattom, Sajuna PM, the Headmistress of GLPS Naduvattom along with Mr. MT Shamsudheen, principal KMCT Arts & Science College Kuttippuram.

The camp was filled with activities and events that boosted participant’s optimistic mindset. The camp was filled with sessions that boosted cleanliness, environmental awareness, skill development, and gender sensitization programs.

The college NSS Special Camp was a memorable and eventful journey through experiences of life and being therefore each other. The camp in fact infused a sense of social obligation and responsibility to the teenage minds. The motto of NSS “Not Me but you” is harnessed through the meticulous efforts put by the students to collectively work in an environment that celebrated the idea of togetherness. Leaving the comfort spaces of home and living in the camp made the students more open minded and prepared them to adjust and adapt to all adversaries. The camp aimed at promoting a sense of social responsibility, team work, and leadership among the participants.
